Guidelines For Clubs And Districts
A Zonta International Program, Funded by the Zonta International Foundation
Zonta International is again offering a $1,000 scholarship at the District level.
Our District 10 is still giving a $1,000 scholarship at the District level. Our
District 10 is still giving a $1,000 scholarship to the District recipient, so this
year the District winner will receive $2,000 for the District Scholarship.
Each District may submit one applicant for consideration for an international scholarship.
There will be Twelve scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each given on the International level.
As of Monday, March 8, the JMK Website is accessible with the new guidelines and 2010 application information.
Please note the major changes:
1. The $1000 District award has been restored starting with these applicants due to International by July 1.
2. The guidelines regarding who is eligible have been extended to include those in a Master's program.
3. Recipients may not apply a second time.
4. A notation has been made to make it clear that Online students are eligible.
5. Those applicants who have applied using the former application are still eligible and do not have to fill out
a new application.
Please continue to promote the scholarship as it is part of the picture that we are encouraging and supporting
women at all stages of life from high school through their advanced/Master's degrees.

September 1, 2010 District Recipient selected and received by Zonta International Committee Chair
October 15, 2010 Announcement of International Recipients
